We procure all raw materials from our approved vendors. In the manufacturing process we require steel casting of various grades, stainless steel round bars, stainless steel pipes, forging, hardware, gaskets, paint & packing material.
All raw materials are checked by our Internal Quality Assurance Department prior to infusion into the manufacturing process. Only approved material is sent for electro plating and then maintained in store.
The raw material is issued to the machine shop as per schedule from administration. Machined valve parts are examined as per machining drawing from design department. Machining is done on CNC & lathes and drilling is done on drilling machine with the help of jigs fixtures for uniformity and interchangeability.
Hydrostatic test is done on valve body dimensionally and visually approved components and then all approved material is sent to fitting/assembling unit. Valve assembly is done, duly handled with care so that there are no scratches on the machining surface and again are sent for hydro-pneumatic leakage test with theory of zero tolerance.
On cast steel products, one coat of corrosion resistant primer (red oxide) is sprayed and if any uneven surface is observed a high temperature putty is used, after which selected colours for different type of valves are sprayed twice for superior surface look.
Final inspection is done by our Quality Assurance Department whose responsibility now is to co-relate and check all records relating to the valve concerned.
In packing department all the valves are covered with polythene bags air bubbles and placed into wooden case, with a bed of paper waste for non-damage of valves.
Dispatch department checks all the details mentioned in the packing notes, invoice and purchase order and send parcel to the transport.
